About Us

Samantha Golden is a native New Yorker, born in the Bronx and currently living in Queens with her partner of 10 years (husband of 1), Ian Krasser. She has a passion for literature, history, pop culture, and folklore, which fuels her imagination when it comes to designing. It's also been speculated that she was a magpie in her previous life, hence her enthusiasm for all things shiny, colorful, or both!

Ian Krasser is the other half of Arsenic in Blue, born and raised in Connecticut before planting himself in New York, where he met his (much) better half. He also has magpie tendencies, having always been drawn to shiny things and bright colors.  Though he does enjoy having friends around, particularly to tell tales to make you laugh, he is happiest to just sit at the jewelry bench looking at gemstones. He also enjoys macro and abstract photography, 3D printing, robotics, and role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons. Be prepared to start a campaign, should you ever cross his path!
